Nissan has unveiled its Navara (known as Frontier in the Americas) concept bakkie called the ‘Attack’ at the 2017 Buenos Aires Auto Show.
The bold red and black double-cab was created by the Nissan Design Center in Rio de Janeiro. Besides its ‘provacative and defiant attitude’, the concept features black-mask headlights, side steps, a roll bar and a luggage rack, a chrome skid plate and large Yokohama off-road tyres.
According to a press release from the Japanese manufacturer: The new version is 40 mm higher than the current production version, and its roof and tires are considerably larger – leading its designers to name it “the beast.”
Inside the concept has a sporty look with black leather seats and steering wheel with red flashes, dashboard and gear lever and comes fitted with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Under the hood the concept is fitted with the brands 2.3-litre turbodiesel engine that delivers 140 kW and 450Nm mated to a manual six-speed gearbox. The concept also retains its multilink rear suspension setup.
