The popular NP200 half-tonne bakkie is now available in a special ICE model. The shiny blue pickup (or silver if you prefer) comes with custom-designed 15-inch alloys and an aluminium nudge bar with a brushed finish.
Exclusive to the NP200 ICE are daytime running lights and the side and rear windows have been tinted with safety film.
The NP200 ICE comes with the choice of petrol or diesel engine. The 1.6 litre petrol engine delivers 64kW and 128Nm of torque and Nissan claims that this engine choice gives 8.1 litres of fuel per 100km in a combined usage cycle.
The diesel option is fitted with Nissan’s acclaimed 1.5 dCi turbodiesel engine, which delivers 63kW and 200Nm and uses only 5.3 litre per 100 km in a combined cycle.
The NP200 ICE is also fitted with an aluminium sports bar that adds extra functionality to the load bay. (Think fitting a motocross or mountain bike stand or tying down a couple of surf boards using the optional roll bar protector and standard sixteen anchor points in the load bay.)
The bay is also rubberised and Nissan has added a fitted tonneau cover and rear step plates fitted below the ICE decals on the rear bumper.
Inside the ICE, you’ll find that the entertainment system has hands-free Bluetooth phone connectivity, audio streaming and a USB connection, leather upholstery and “easy-to-clean” rubber mats.
Pricing:
