Nissan has revealed the first images of the all-new Murano before it makes its international debut at the New York Motor Show later today.
As we predicted earlier, the styling of the new Murano is heavily influenced by the Resonance concept Nissan showcased last year.
As the halo vehicle for Nissan’s expanding range of bold crossovers and SUVs, the latest Murano also expresses a new Nissan design direction – including its V-motion front end, LED boomerang lights and the unique floating roof.
The Murano will feature all the latest luxuries on the inside, including a Bose premium sound system and an eight-inch colour display.
Available safety and security systems include Moving Object Detection (MOD), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) and Forward Emergency Braking. The new Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) system utilizes radar to detect a moving vehicle behind the Murano approaching from either side of the parking space.
Power is provided by the tried and trusted 3,5-litre petrol V6 from the previous model. It is mated to Nissan’s Xtronic transmission and will be made available in front- or all-wheel drive format.
