Nissan reveals Project Titan

by Leisure Wheels

10 September 2014

A few months ago Nissan started a Facebook campaign where it asked fans to help it modify a Titan.

The fans voted on ten different elements of the overall project and the result is now complete and called Project Titan.

Exterior wise the Titan features a new front bumper, recovery winch and a camouflage wrap. To complete the look, Nissan added a set of 18-inch Fuel Revolver alloys shod in 35-inch rubber.

The trailer, which is part of the package, carries a tent, spare tyre and extra storage space for water and fuel.

It definitely needs that extra storage space for fuel, because Project Titan is powered by a 5,6-litre V8, which has been upgraded with a Nismo cold-air intake and a modified exhaust system.

Project Titan is a once off, but it won’t be parked in a museum for people to look at.

It will shortly embark a tour of Alaska, driven by two Iraqi war veterans.

A documentary on this adventure will be launched afterwards and we’ll share it with you as soon as it becomes available.
