Although it won’t go into production and it’s inappropriate for our local conditions, we can’t help but be intrigued by some of the zany concept cars. This one, the Nissan Rogue Warrior Concept made an appearance at the 2016 Montreal International Auto Show.
The extreme prototype, sits on heavy-duty snow tracks measuring 76cm in height and 122cm in length, with the individual track width coming in at 38cm.
The car was modified by Quebec-based Motorsports in Action (MIA), using the Dominator track system. The suspension was also adjusted and a few custom snow guards and minor body tunings were made to accommodate the tracks. Besides that, the Rogue remains standard making use of the factory production Xtronic transmission and AWD drivetrain.
It is fully capable of driving up to 100kph, scaling a 45-degree grade in groomed snow while having a 58cm ground clearance.
