We see new car concepts all the time, but it’s not often we spot a “smart camping concept.”
The camping concept you see here is called the Nissan x Opus and it’s the result of the Japanese manufacturer teaming up with a trailer tent firm called Opus.
This camper uses Nissan’s Roam portable weatherproof power pack, which houses 100Wh inside batteries recycled from first-generation Nissan electric vehicles.
This battery pack powers the 230-volt on board power system, which, in turn, charges another battery, which keeps all the on-board gadgets going. For around a week at a time.
When fully erected, the Opus provides six beds, dining area, cooking facilities, charging ports, a pull-out projector and a WiFi hotspot.
