The Opel SUV line-up is looking spiffy this month thanks to the addition of the Grandland X. It joins its Opel Crossland X and Opel Mokka X counterparts.
Not only does it look cool, but Opel also says that Grandland is introducing a number of assistance and comfort features a car in this class has never seen before. These include Advance Park Assist, 360° camera system, heated steering wheel and a boot that opens when you wave your foot under the rear bumper.
The Grandland is also equipped with Opel’s IntelliLink infotainment system, which we know from previous experience is a joy to use.
Its long wheelbase of 2.68m ensures that the compact class SUV has plenty of space for up to five people. And the luggage compartment with offers from 514 liters with all seats in place, to a maximum of 1652 liters with all seats folded flat. The FlexFold seats disappear with a one hand movement.
At the moment the Grandland X is only available with a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol, which produces 121kW and 240Nm of torque. It’s couple to a six-speed automatic transmission and is available in three trim levels.
