Le Bourget, the French version of the annual Caravan Salon, takes place in Paris this weekend.
Obviously, the French manufacturers wait to have the home ground advantage to unveil their latest models and concepts and this year is no different.
The first model introduction is the Peugeot Boxer 4×4 Concept.
As the name suggests, it’s based on the Boxer L3 panel van.
It’s powered by a 121kW/370Nm diesel, which powers all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.
To make it more suited to harsh conditions, Peugeot included robust plastic cladding, BFGoodrich off-road tyres and 50mm increase in ground clearance.
Peugeot says the interior features four distinctive zones. There’s the obvious driving station, dining and kitchen area, sleeping area and a bathroom. It’s meant for three people, in other words, two adults an one child.
As an added bonus, this concept camper also comes with a Peugeot electric eBike.
