Michael Fleiss, the vice president of powertrain development, recently revealed that his team is already working on Polestar versions of the all-new XC90.
In an interview with Auto Express, the Polestar versions won’t be the most powerful variants in the range, but will rather slot in between the T6 and T8.
The T8 hybrid offers 298kW and 640Nm of torque, while the T6 produces 240kW and 400Nm of torque.
The exterior will likely also receive the Polestar treatment, which means an aggressive body kit and a body colour exclusive to this particular model.
No release date has been set, but Fleiss has stated that the public should expect it in the years to come.
