Porsche’s ceo, Matthias Muller, recently told the IndianAutosBlog that it is working on a hybrid version of the Macan.
According to Muller, we’ll likely see it in one or two years, but other than that, no information is available.
It will likely use the same hybrid powertrain as the Cayenne. That particular powertrain uses a 3,0-litre V6 petrol and an electric motor to produce a combined power output of 306kW and 590Nm of torque.
As the Cayenne hybrid was made available in SA, the Macan hybrid will likely also find its way here eventually.
