While we’re still a few days away from the first driving impressions of the new Land Rover Defender, we do have some pricing news for you.
The all-new Defender’s pricing and specification details recently went live on Land Rover’s local website.
The pricing is only for the D240, P300 and P400. Trim levels include S, SE, HSE and X, as well as Land Rover and Jaguar’s First Edition trim. We’ll delve into the specification levels in our driving impression but for now, we’ll give you the basics.
The D240 model uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel, tuned to deliver 177kW and 430Nm of torque. The P300 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol with 221kW and 400Nm on tap. The P300 uses a new turbocharged straight-six petrol and a mild-hybrid setup do deliver 294kW and 550Nm. All models come as standard with four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
