The Range Rover Evoque will be getting some updates for 2017 and a black and red special edition model known as Ember will also be released in the UK.
Based on a HSE Dynamic model, the Ember sports some new detailing. This includes the eye-catching red trimmed roof, wheels and lights that have been darkened, front and rear bumper highlights to match the black body. Inside you’ll find black sport seats with red stitching and black glossy trim around the dash.
The special edition will only be available for three months in the British summer (our winter), with prices starting from £47 200 (R968 543).
The rest of the Evoque range will get some new features such as the Low Traction Launch mode, that limits torque to wheels to prevent wheelspin when pulling away and the new InControl Touch Pro infotainment system that features a higher-resolution touchscreen display and extra smartphone connectivity.
The SE Tech model will also be updated with electric seats and auto high beams, with prices starting at £33 000 (R677 362). There’s a new Graphite Design Pack on the options list as well, adding 20-inch alloy wheels, grey and black exterior detailing and darkened lights for £2,125 (R43 645).
