Just when you thought the Ford SVT Raptor couldn’t get madder than it already is, Shelby comes along and makes a few modifications to it.
The changes to the exterior are minor, but who cares? If you really want to know what the difference between it and the standard Raptor are, you need to lift up the bonnet.
The standard 6,2-litre V8 has been equipped with a new fuel injector, larger throttle bodies, a new exhaust system and a 2,9-litre Whipple supercharger.
The result is 522kW, which is an insane amount of power for a bakkie.
Only 50 will be made, so chances are we’ll never even catch a glimpse of one in SA.
