South Africa’s best-selling bakkies October 2019

NAAMSA’s figures for October are out and Toyota came out on top again.

The grand total of 4 777 units sold, places it comfortably above the next bakkie in line, the Ford Ranger. For the month of October, Ford sold a total of 1 806 Rangers.

Third place goes to the Isuzu D-Max, with 1 384 units sold, followed closely by the Nissan NP200 with 1 051 units sold.

Next up is another Nissan. The NP300 sold 440 units.

In sixth place we find the Mahindra Pik Up with 286 units, followed by the Toyota Land Cruiser with 231 units.

Volkswagen’s Amarok came in eight place with 187 units, followed by the GWM Steed with 179.

In tenth place we find the Nissan Navara, with 151 units sold.

In case you were wondering about the rest, the Fiat Fullback sold five, while the Mazda BT-5- sold 13. Mitsubishi’s facelifted Triton is still struggling, with only 32 finding a new home in October.
