The Sports package adds interior, exterior and safety features, although the mechanics of the vehicle and engine performance remain unchanged.
The exterior receives chrome trim on the body-strips, as well as a sterling silver radiator grille, also with chrome trim. More chrome can be found on the sill guard on the rear bumper, while the tailpipe is also chromed.
The windows have received a blue tint, while the roof-rails have an aluminium look.
Twenty-inch five-twin-spoke alloy rims and exterior running boards round off the updated exterior.
The interior package appointments ensure that the inside of the M-Class also makes a very athletic impression. Brushed stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs complement the sports instrument cluster. The electrically adjustable sports seats, with 4-way lumbar support on the driver’s side, are upholstered in a combination of Alcantara and man-made leather, with contrasting topstitching and a five-ribbed horizontal design that adds to an dynamic feel.
The occupant protection system Pre-Safe and Neck-Pro head restraints are standard safety features. For increased safety, the parktronic system is also a standard feature.
