A German tuning firm called Startech has converted a Range Rover into a double-cab bakkie.
To complete the transformation, Startech has to make around 100 unique components from aluminium, steel and carbon fibre. The loadbin, which is 60cm long, has an electric tailgate. It can be opened with the touch of a button.
Other exterior modifications include extended wheel arches, roof spoiler, LED lights and a smattering of carbon fibre inserts.
The ride height is fully adjustable and the vehicle can be lowered by as much as 30mm for high speed driving, which you’ll inevitably end up doing thanks to the modifications made to the engine.
The custom exhaust has added and additional 12kW to the already outrageously powerful supercharged V8. The output of 387kW allows the Range Rover bakkie to accelerate to 100km/h in 5,3 seconds.
We doubt we’ll ever see one of these things running around in SA.
