Tata hoping to join the fold with Hexa

The Tata Hexa, showcased at this year’s Auto Expo in India, looks set to be a game-changer for the brand. With an aggressive product offensive, the brand showcased several new cars in an attempt to establish itself as a formidable force around the world, and especially in South Africa.

By the looks of it, the Hexa compact SUV might just be the brand’s secret weapon. Styled to look as tough as nails it is also chic. The brand also promised impressive trim levels as standard.

Powered by a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine, the Hexa will produce a modest 117kW of power and 400Nm of hill-conquering torque. It will also be available in both automatic and manual guise.

It features four different drive modes; Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and our favourite, Rough Road, just for when the occasion arises.
