Tesla has revealed its first SUV, the Model X.
The Model X is the first production SUV in the world and is available in six- or seven-seat configuration.
On the inside it has a massive tablet, just like other models in the Tesla range. From there you can basically control all the major interior features.
The battery pack is mounted in the floor, which leaves more interior room and lowers the centre of gravity.
Two version are offered, both all-wheel drive. The 90 D model comes with two 190kW electric motors, one for each axle. It can accelerate to 100km/h in around five seconds and has an estimated range of 414km.
The P90D model has one 190kW motor and one 370kW motor, which enables the driver to sprint to 100km/h in around four seconds.
The first deliveries are scheduled to take place mid 2016, but don’t expect to see Tesla on local shores anytime soon.
