Jaguar Land Rover has just unveiled the updated flagship Range Rover ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Finished by JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations unit the the long wheelbase Range Rover SVAutobiography is the priciest Range Raver model to date, with a tag of £177 030 (over R3.2 million) for the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 model, delivering (422kW).
Other powertrain options include is a 4.4-litre V8 turbodiesel (250kW) and a new plug-in hybrid electric-petrol unit. It comprises a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and a small electric motor, which delivers a combined output of 295kW and 640Nm of torque with an pure electric range of 50km.
The SVAutobiography focuses comes with ‘Executive Class’ rear seats with an amazing 1.2 metres of legroom. The heated seats can also recline to a maximum of 40 degrees and have calf and footrests.
There is also a 10-inch touchscreen for each rear passenger, and a fridge between the two rear seats, with the capacity to hold two wine bottles or four 600ml bottles.
Customers can also choose a power ‘deployable veneered loadspace floor ‘ in the boot to help with loading and unloading items.
