In our February issue, the third question for the TOWCAR competition is missing. Here is everything you need to enter:

  • Never new that looks will help with towing. I must get a soft touch dash for more torque. Wonder how much VW paid them?

    happy old bakkies lost eg toyota & nissans unlucky for my favourite ISUZU the competition was too early for the ultimate winner with the old workhorse ISUZU still mananged to beat your updated hilux and the BEEs navara

  • The older bakkies lost out because of lack of power and safety features. When towing, you want to have high torque over a wide rev range with well arranged gearing. You don’t want to change gears all the time. The Amarok doesn’t fall in this category at all, even with the unreliable 132kw sewing machine engine.
