Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the V-Class Marco Polo at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Germany.
As its names suggests, the vehicle is aimed at campers, and is designed to provide comfortable accommodation on the go. With this in mind, the vehicle boasts a two beds and a kitchenette.
The “kitchen” consists of a fridge, a sink, two gas burners, a cupboard and an adjustable table.
As you would expect from Mercedes-Benz, the cabin is stylish and luxurious, boasting leather seats and a yacht-inspired wood floor. Two electric seats in the rear can also be converted into a bed with the touch of a button.
Under the bonnet, the Marco Polo will be available with a variety of engines, including a 200 CDI and 220 CDI.
It goes on sale in Germany at the end of July 2014, but unfortunately it is unlikely that we’ll ever see it on sale in South Africa.
Pricing has not been announced yet.
