Volkswagen has announced that it will be introducing two new crossovers into its line-up in the next few years.
One of these crossover will slot in underneath the Tiguan, while the other will compete in the segment above it.
The first will likely be a compact crossover, as VW desperately needs a competitor in this fairly important new segment. The second model, which will come later, will likely be a crossover coupé of sorts and will probably be a production version of Volkswagen’s CrossBlue concept, which is pictured above.
For the record, the new Tiguan is set to be launched within the next few months and we’ll likely receive it in SA during 2016.
