Wildcat builds 410 kW Defender

British company Wildcat has created a Land Rover Defender that is capable of offering 410 kW of power and more than 550 Nm of torque.

How did Wildcat accomplish this? By dropping  a 6,2-litre V8 Corvette  engine and a GM 6L80 six-speed automatic gearbox into the engine bay of the Landy.

As standard, the Corvette engine generates 320 kW of power, which should be ample for a Defender. Nut, should a customer wish, Wildcat can tune the engine to create 410 kW.

The Land Rover looks pretty standard, but once you hear that engine firing up, it quickly becomes clear that something “interesting” is going on under the bonnet. You can watch a video of the vehicle below.
