World’s first mobile hotel

31 July 2014

Have you ever wished that your hotel room could be slightly more mobile?

Well, Volkswagen and LateRoom.com have come up with a solution to this problem.

VW has made six California SE camper vans available as hotel rooms, and these mobile rooms will be travelling all over the UK.

Temple Island is the first destination and guests can stay there for the equivalent of R400 per night.

The California provides sleeping for four people, a kitchen, a two-top cooker, a pop-up roof and a fridge, so, basically, more comforts than you’ll get in most hotel rooms.

The offer will be running for a short time only, so if you find yourself in the UK within the next month or so, make sure to check it out.
