Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Marco Polo Activity – a camper van that the company says is the perfect recreational vehicle for young families.
The Marco Polo Activity is based on the Vito, and has been cleverly created to provide seating and sleeping accommodation for families in the rear. The roof pops up to increase headroom.
The vehicle is available with five different engine options, ranging from a mere 65 kW to 140 kW. Buyers can also choose between front-, rear- and all-wheel drive.
The Marco Polo Activity will be officially introduced at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon, and will be priced around €38 960 in Germany. That’s much cheaper than the Viano-based Marco Polo, which starts at €54 835.
Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that we’ll ever see the vehicle here in South Africa.
