We’ve already mentioned that Mercedes-Benz will be releasing a GLE 63 AMG S designed to take on the BMW X6 M. But now the company has also debuted a GLE 450 AMG that will slot in below the GLE 63.
The GLE 450 AMG was shown at the Detroit Auto Show, clad in an aggressive bodykit and sitting on 21-inch rims. The vehicle is powered by a twin-turbo V6 petrol mill that develops 270 kW of power and 520 Nm of torque, and is mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
