There is no doubt that the current Volvo XC90 is desperately in need of an update. The vehicle has been around for a long time, and it is really starting to show its age. The good news, though, is that we might see the all-new XC90 fairly soon…
We’ve known for a while that a new XC90 was in the works, and Volvo concept vehicles such as the Concept XC Coupé even hinted at what it might look like. What wasn’t clear was when exactly this much-anticipated Volvo would make its appearance.
But thanks to Car&Driver, things have become a bit clearer. The magazine recently spoke to Volvo Cars North America president and CEO, Tony Nicolosi, who said that we can expect to see the XC90 unveiled at this year’s LA Auto Show, which takes place in the fourth quarter of the year. According to Nicolosi, it will hit showroom floors in March 2015.
The LA show will take place from 21 – 30 November 2014, so we’ll have to wait a while longer, but at least we know that we’ll finally get to see this much-anticipated SUV this year. All good things come to those who wait…
